Our history
The Broadway Westport Council has worked since 1969 to maintain and improve Kansas City's Broadway Westport area as a desirable place to live, work, and conduct business, as well as enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment. In 1999, the Broadway Westport Council was formed by a merger between the Broadway Area Association and the Old Westport Improvement Association. Boundaries are Pershing Road to 46th Terrace and Southwest Trafficway to Main Street.
Our mission
The Broadway Westport Council is a membership association of property owners, businesses, and residents that promotes and supports maintaining and improving Kansas City's Broadway Westport corridor as a desirable place to live, work, and conduct business as well as enjoy shopping, dining and entertainment.
